Abigail Edge’s Biography
Abigail is an award-winning journalist with more than 10 years of experience in the news industry in the UK and US. Her beats include news and features, politics, environment and narrative journalism.
As a newsroom consultant, Abigail supports news organisations, NGOs and nonprofits with impact-driven editorial strategy, community engagement, and anti-mis/disinformation campaigns.
She is a visiting lecturer in journalism at City, University of London, and a co-founder of the Society of Freelance Journalists (CIC).
Abigail is an awardee of the Guardian’s Scott Trust Bursary and Google News Initiative’s Teaching Fellowship, plus writing awards from PEN America, Arts Council, and others.
