Adam D. Tihany is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading hospitality designers. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he founded Tihany Design in New York in 1978, establishing one of the first multidisciplinary studios dedicated to hospitality design. In 1981, he became the first designer to be described as a “restaurant designer,” pioneering a new approach to the field.
