Short Bus Diaries Vol. 3 Episode 3: Behind the Scenes with Wild Fly Productions
One of the unique things about YouTube is that you’re able to connect with and grow a community of like-minded people. You get to interact with them online via messages, comments, and emails which is great, but you rarely get to have in-person interaction. With that being said, we wanted to plan an event that would include our fans. So, we hosted our first brewery event at 4 Noses Brewing in Denver and invited Short Bus fans to come out to have a beer, win some goodies, and tour the bus.

Airflo Redfish Fly Line Review
I recently went down to the Texas coast to get some R&D time on some new Redfish flies we are designing. I got a chance to use a few of Airflo’s newest saltwater fly delivery options while chasing Redfish on the Texas Coast. The lines I sampled were the Gulf Redfish Taper, The Bonefish Taper, and the 4 Season Sniper with an Intermediate sink tip. Airflo’s SuperDri Gulf Redfish Fly Line The Redfish line had awesome power for turning over heavy crabs or larger Crustaceans.
120 Hours in Bull Trout Country: Behind the Scenes with Wild Fly Productions
The main goal of the trip was simple. Find Bull Trout in an area where there isn’t much information readily available. For months I poured over Scientific Journal publications trying to find the intel on what they were up to. Having made a game plan, we were ready to load up for 5 days of camping/fishing in the Backcountry. This is where I would point out that you don’t need someone to tell you where to go fish.
Wildfly Productions Backyard Bronze – Behind the Scenes Episode 3 - Flylords Mag
Although the float was very scenic, the fish were not there. A broken rod, some empty coronas, and 2 decent largemouth bass were all we had to show for the day. We were worried that this was gonna be the case. Over the last 5 years, kayakers and tubers have taken over this stretch leading to more trash in the river and slower fishing. It’s sad to see this because just 10 years ago, we wouldn’t have seen a single soul on the river and the fishing would have been on fire.
Wildfly Production's Backyard Bronze
North Alabama is the southernmost extent of the native smallmouth range in the U.S. (Here is a helpful resource for finding where smallmouth live). Growing up here I have heard every misconception that’s ever been said about smallmouth. Like: they don’t live here, the water isn’t cold enough for them, and they live in ugly places.
Ozark Roadtrip from Wild Fly Productions [Behind the Scenes]
We’ve wanted to fish for smallmouth in the Ozarks for a long time, but it’s always been just out of the way to make it happen. So, when we got the call from Simms to head there for a photo shoot, we were ecstatic. We were going to be fishing mainly for trout (during the Simms shoot) but after we wrapped that up, we planned to have a few days to target smallmouth for ourselves. With the smallmouth tingles running through our bodies, we booked flights and arrangements to get there.
Driving Into the Future of Telematics
Home::Auto Insurance::Driving Into the Future of Telematics October 29, 2020 by Adam Hudson Summary: Connected vehicles, and their shared language of data delivered through an exchange, are the future of telematics. Photo Courtesy of Pexels Roadblocks exist for a reason. While often viewed as an obstacle or a challenge, in fact they’re an opportunity to find a solution that’s right in front of you. Take the notion of a mass market telematics programs.
Insurers should focus on three areas to win with telematics
Commentary Insurance carriers often ask: 'What is the most important thing we should do with telematics?' Consumers are increasingly looking for a more personalized way of having their insurance priced based on how they drive, and telematics can help them get that. (Shutterstock) I’ve spent a lot of time over the last year talking about how automakers and insurance carriers can come together to improve the experience of automobile ownership for consumers.
Teamwork will help unlock revenue potential of vehicle data
Growth in global car sales is expected to slow abruptly by 2030, a trend that may be accelerated by growth in autonomous vehicle fleets and other transportation services. But the data that will come from autonomous and connected vehicles have enormous potential value and could offset revenue declines from car sales and insurance. Currently, the cars occupying today’s roads combined with smartphone use and aftermarket devices offer a wealth of data and insights.
What Do Women Really Want from Telematics Insurance?
New research from LexisNexis Risk Solutions of over 3,000 motorists* representative of the total motoring population of the UK, has established that while the key motivators for purchasing telematics insurance are broadly the same for men and women, there are subtle variations in how males and females perceive the benefits, with women being more motivated by safety while men are more concerned with savings.
