Adrian Phillips runs Bradt Guides – the world’s largest independent guidebook publisher – as well as writing/broadcasting about travel for outlets including The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, National Geographic Traveller, Family Traveller magazine, the BBC and ITV. Covering everything from city breaks to rainforest expeditions, he is familiar with travel at its most and least comfortable (once returning home with a parasite in his leg).
