Earth Engine client library not initialized when using a dask cluster and xarray?
I'm trying to test running a simple math operation client-side using xee, an xarray extension for the Google Earth Engine API. When I set up the Dask client and run the compute() method I keep getting EEException: Earth Engine client library not initialized. Run ee.Initialize(). I do run the ee.Initialize() function after I set up the Dask client, but I'm assuming this function is bring ran outside the scope of the workers in my Dask cluster.

I am using xee, an extension of xarray to work with data from Google Earth Engine. I am trying to test computing NDVI through an xarray of Landsat imagery, but I keep getting this error. EEException: Total request size (56623104 bytes) must be less than or equal to 50331648 bytes. Am I just working with too much data? I kind of assumed that xarray, in tandem with Dask, would allow me to work with data of any size. I'm attaching my code in case you would like to replicate the error yourself.
rioxarray.open_rasterio() won't close a file when using it with a context manager
I am writing some unit tests to test reading in raster data into an xr.Dataset data structure via the rioxarray.open_rasterio() method. The code creates a test raster to read into rioxarray.open_rasterio() and then removes the file once the test finishes. The code works perfectly fine when I just load the raster as an xr.DataArray. It's able to create the raster and remove it upon completion.
Options to speed up converting a xr.DataArray object derived from Google Earth Engine to a raster
I am using an extension of xarray called xee to stream image collections from Google Earth Engine into xarray DataArrays and xarray Datasets. I have a simple example that grabs some Landsat imagery and stores the data into an xarray dataset. I then grab the first image from the xarray Dataset, chunk it to compute NDVI in a way that is less RAM intense, transpose the dimensions in the DataArray, and then export the DataArray using rioxarray. # Do some Earth Engine filtering.
