What was your first job as a journalist?
Working for Instinct Magazine as a weekend writer/blogger.

It appeals to the short attention span of people that use social media

Not sure, I do not read much
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I am not sure as I just do what I do to provide knowledge and my opinions to others.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I knew I made a great one up before, but I cannot remember right now.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer something via email, with pictures or video and a simple explanation, but it must be so obvious the LGBTQ connection.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
WordPress, PowerPoint, WORD, camera.

Why did you become a journalist?
To share my thoughts and opinions with others.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A response to King's It opening for his second installation.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be true to yourself and be honest with those you work with and for.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time. I'm working 24/7, but if it's for a great trip, January so I can plan it for my April birthday.

a free trip to Switzerland
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
the spam i get every single day
What's your favorite drink?
Tequila for alcohol, but an all natural carrot juice concoction I had in New Orleans
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Outside in the garden and unplugged from technology.

I am not much of a reader of other's works
