Angela Hart is a print and multimedia journalist covering the environment, health care, and politics. A self-made specialist in explanatory journalism that connects policy and politics, her she has spent the last year investigative how the Affordable Care Act may leave some of the Bay Area’s most needy residents behind.
Angela is excited about the future of journalism. She's written about Bay Area politics, land use and health care policy in the U.S.
Her work has appeared in the San Francisco Public Press, the Oakland Tribune, KQED, and California Healthline. She has worked as an editor at Patch.com in Rohnert Park and is now pursuing investigative and health care reporting.
Prior to journalism, Angela spent eight years in the military, two of which were spent in Iraq during the beginning of the war. She separated from the Army in 2008.
