Polysaccharide from Pleurotus tuber-regium mycelium improves DSS-induced colitis in mice by regulating inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress and gut microbiota
Polysaccharide from Pleurotus tuber-regium mycelium improves DSS-induced colitis in mice by regulating inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress and gut microbiota Pleurotus tuber-regium (PTR) has been proved to have obvious pharmacological values. In this study, the polysaccharide was extracted from mycelium of PTR and treated DSS-induced colitis mice to clarify the protective effect and mechanism of PTR polysaccharide (PTRP) on colitis.

An Efficient Prephenate Dehydrogenase Gene for the Biosynthesis of L-tyrosine: Gene Mining, Sequence Analysis, and Expression Optimization
1. Introduction The aromatic amino acid L-tyrosine is a nutritionally essential amino acid for humans, and it has been widely used in food additives, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals [1,2,3]. Moreover, L-tyrosine is a common precursor for the synthesis of various high-value-added natural active substances such as salvianic acid A, resveratrol, caffeic acid, hydroxytyrosol, salidroside, curcumins, benzylisoquinoline alkaloids (BIAs), and so on [4,5,6,7,8,9].
