The Role of the Solar Plexus Chakra in Healing
Healing is a continuous journey deeply intertwined with the solar plexus chakra, which influences personal growth and emotional balance. By confronting attachments and inner conflicts, individuals can foster a true state of peace, allowing love and integrity to guide their journey towards self-awareness and wholeness. What role do ego and the soul play in healing? How does the solar plexus chakra influence personal growth? What methods can facilitate healing and self-awareness?
Transforming Challenges into Opportunities for Growth
Transformational Presence offers a unique perspective on handling challenges by encouraging individuals to listen to the messages inherent in their problems. Instead of resisting or pushing against difficulties, this approach promotes co-creation with the potential that emerges from accepting circumstances as they are, leading to new possibilities and growth. What challenges arise from resisting problems? How does Transformational Presence facilitate transformation?
What Wants to Happen?: The 5 Questions of "The Deep Simple"
Image by Engin Akyurt Narrated by Marie T. Russell Video version at the bottom of this article To the intuitive mind, complexity is not a mystery, nor is it overwhelming. It’s just a different reality that requires a different set of skills and capacities—the skills and capacities that come from Whole-Mind Thinking and Whole-Being Awareness. The key is to stay in “receptive” mode rather than fall back into “output” or “figure it out” mode.

Complicated, Complex, Or Both—Critical Distinctions in a New World
Image by Arek Socha We are moving from a context of “Leading when I know” or when I should have known, where strategy means guessing the future, to a world of “Leading when I don’t know,” where strategizing means preparing ourselves for whatever future comes our way.
The Ideal Partnership: Whole-Mind Thinking and Whole-Being Awareness
Image by PublicDomainPictures It is always with excitement that I wake up in the morning wondering what my intuition will toss up to me, like gifts from the sea. I work with it and rely on it. It’s my partner. Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next.

Making Clear Choices About How You Relate To Events and Situations In Daily Life
Image by Tom und Nicki Löschner Many people think of relationships as being primarily between people or between living things. Yet we’re also talking about relationships between people and ideas, between people and organizations, between ideas and beliefs—the list can go on and on. “Relationship” can be defined as “a state of connectedness between two or more energies through a physical or a non-physical space.” Everything exists or happens in relationship to something else.

Energy Cannot Be Destroyed; It Can Only Be Transformed
Image by Eluj Much as we might like to, at the energy level, we can’t get rid of something we don’t like—a thought, a feeling, a belief, a circumstance, or a situation. The good news, however, is that we can transform it. One of the tenets of Transformational Presence work is: A problem is not something to be solved; it is a message to be listened to. Our job is to listen to the message, discover the greater potential wanting to unfold, and partner with that potential to create a new reality.
Shifting to Heart Intelligence: We Start With Just Three Questions
Image by Jonny Lindner Do what you can with what you have where you are. —Theodore Roosevelt These words from Theodore Roosevelt offer practical advice for challenging times. Something about that statement grabbed my attention the first time that I read it. However, as I kept sitting with Roosevelt’s words, I began to realize that in today’s world, we might be better served by turning his statement around, starting with the last part first: Where you are, with what you have, do what you can.

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self. This is the early-bird verson of the newsletter/new issue of InnerSelf. It seems that with the new website and new programs installed and the way we are now working to prepare the articles, the "early bird" won't be as early as it was in the past. ♥ So, in the future look for it at some point on Saturday, but not always bright and early as in the previous months (or years).
Is Opening Your Heart Simplistic, Naïve, And Disconnected From Reality?
Image by Bessi To just say, “You have to open your heart!” can be perceived by many people as overly simplistic, naïve, and disconnected from reality. It can be interpreted as a feel-good-warm-and-fuzzy approach that has no substance. And it can give the impression that you are in denial of the magnitude of what is happening.

InnerSelf Newsletter: May 26th, 2019
Image by Brigitte Werner Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self. Once again I feel like starting the newsletter with the words "the times, they are a'changing"... and perhaps it is a mantra for these times, as well as an observation, and of course also a vision to create. Our featured authors this week are focusing on the big picture... the changes that are taking place as well as the changes we need to implement ourselves.

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self. Energy! It can seem like it's the elusive ingredient in our lives at times. We might find ourselves sayingwe need more energy! The good news is that we humans are powered by renewable energy. Every day we wake up and we have a new blank slate, a new 24-hours, and a new refreshed tank of energy. Though sometimes, we may feel like our tank is not being refilled and is almost dry. This week our authors help us look at energy...
The Power of Listening and Observing
If you tell life what it has to be, you limit it. If you let it show you what it wants to be, it will open doors you never knew existed. —Rutter-Rhymer Years ago on one of their many trips together, my parents found a whimsical wall hanging made of three ceramic tiles inscribed with the words above. My father pointed out the hanging to my mother and said to her quietly, “That looks like Alan.
The Great Breaking Open: The Time Is Ripe For Transformation
For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. —Cynthia Occelli, author and blogger Life does not accommodate you; it shatters you. Every seed destroys its container or else there would be no fruition.

How To Create A World That Works: Do What “Wants To Happen” In The World Through You
There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.

The Drama in Our Lives: A Wake-Up Call
We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. — Charles R. Swindoll, American writer and clergyman In a very general way, you could say that there are four levels of awareness from which we engage with our daily experiences: drama, situation, choice, and opportunity. Understanding these four levels is a first step towards creating a world that works. Drama lives at the surface.
Meeting Our Shadow Self and Attaining a True State of Peace
How do you heal yourselves mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally? The first step is to realize that the healing is happening all the time. It has been happening all along. It may be hard to see when the times are tough, when you feel trapped in circumstances that appear to be beyond your control, when you are in any kind of pain, when there is abuse on any level.
