Have you ever used a typewriter?

I have! I've also replicated the focussed simplicity by using the iWriter app, which gives you just a white screen with no distractions.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Probably Damien Day from Channel 4 sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey, even if he is everything an ethical journalist shouldn't be...

What's your favorite social network?

Definitely Twitter, purely for the way news spreads so quickly (of course this has its own problems, but mostly it's a good thing)

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Not for my school paper (there wasn't one), but I did do music reviews for Spark, the Reading University newspaper.
