What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a collaborator for a Spanish Magazine in 2014. It gave me the chance to write about books, movies, music, comics, anything I wanted.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I think I played once or twice with one when I was a kid, maybe it was my mother's, but that's all, and I would like to try doing it one day.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be able to write about what I find interesting and inspiring, and learn in the process.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Send me an email about what interests you, basic information of what has to be done and we can talk about it.
What's your favorite social network?
Does Blogger count? I have my blog in there, it's easy to use, it's simple and it allows me to write as much as I want. Plain perfect!
Who do you wish followed you?
Neil Gaiman, Lady Gaga, Emilie Autumn, Lady Gaga, Stephenie Meyer, Lady Gaga... You know, regular folks.
Why did you become a journalist?
It wasn't planned! I was searching for a publication I'd like, and when I found it, I decided to write for it.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Nope. There wasn't one on my high school, but I don't think I would have worked on it, to be honest. Or maybe yes. Who knows.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The first time I wrote about manhwa, a review, it felt way too wonderful. Now, having an interview with Tilo Wolff was beyond amazing!
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Forget about college, about courses, about everything. Work with whatever you want and whatever speaks to you. If you don't like it, skip it.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime, to be honest. I check my email every single day, unless my Internet decides otherwise.
What's your favorite drink?
Most of the time I ask for water, but give me chocolate I'll be smiling for like... 24 hours.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
On my sofa reading. Print, digital, a fanfiction, a comic, a manga, whatever I can put my eyes on.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Strangely, I don't read publications. I'm always reading books and comics in my cellphone, though.
