Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. When I was going to university I used my sister's old Olivetti and there I wrote my first texts as a writer. I still write beforehand on paper.
How is social media changing news?
It's a new source, it's the new outlet, social media it's a media itself

What does it mean to be a journalist?
It is a responsibility and especially in these post-truth times, with reality, with people who are manipulated due to the war of narratives.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer to know the objective of the report or work, as I am very romantic, each story must try to change things and reality, so I commit myself as if it were a mission or an adventure

All the Adobe Suite, microphone ready to use and Moleskine

For accident, I was trying to be a filmmaker

About Peñabots, that was the most important and impact all my country
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
That the main commitment is objectivity, it is very easy to side with history, and it is very tempting to side with power. Journalism must be far from power and must also avoid being militant journalism, because our commitment is with the people, with those who do not belong to either side.

What's the best pitch you ever got?
When in a stroke of luck we interviewed the Anonymous collective in person, I think we were the only ones to do it face to face. It was very exciting
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
When I tried to convince a great journalist to do a great investigation, she as a teacher told me that I had to prepare my speech well before looking for her. Yes she helped me later, but it was a great lesson
