(TLP:CLEAR) Hurricane Isaias Projected to Make Landfall Along the U.S. Gulf Coast
Summary: The National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported this morning that Hurricane Isaias continues to gain strength and is expected to make landfall along the U.S. Gulf Coast late Friday or early Saturday, threatening parts of Mississippi, Alabama, and the western part of the Florida Panhandle with heavy rain and wind. This system became the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season after strengthening from a tropical storm late Wednesday night.
