What was your first job as a journalist?
Worked for a financial services website that wanted to use news for SEO purposes.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yeah. Back when I was a kid. I was pretty skilled at it.
How is social media changing news?
It accelerates the pace at which news are spread accross the world at a rate that was probably hard to imagine a few decades ago.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Informing, enlighting, and possibly improving decision-making.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
E-mail, Skype.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Laptop, Grammarly, TradingView, Google Chrome, coffee, Wordpress, more coffee, Koyfin.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter
Why did you become a journalist?
I love to be up-to-date with the latest on the financial markets and being a journalist accomplishes that in an even more exciting way.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No. My high school didn't have one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I have not yet written one that elicits such sentiment. I'm equally proud of all the news I have covered thus far.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Tell the story, stick to the facts.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Mid-morning, early afternoon.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Hanging out with my family.
