I own a vintage 1949 Imperial Model 60 typewriter, which is in dire need of repair.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To question the status quo and hold those in power accountable; to inform and entertain.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Find a good mentor, ask lots of questions, and grow a thick skin ready for the editing process.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Somewhere in the mountains, typically hiking (and often lost).
