Sports reporter at the Arizona Daily Wildcat.

Yes, at my grandmother's house. I think before we owned a computer.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Peter Parker, freelance photojournalist.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Having a news peg is always great.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Omnifocus is my productivity app. Evernote contains everything else. Feedly for reading. A telephone is always useful. Also pen and paper.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram. I like seeing the world through the eyes of my friends.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love the idea of getting paid (hopefully) to learn new things and share them with others.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm very proud of assisting my colleagues at the Arizona Daily Star during Jan. 8, 2011 shootings in Tucson, Ariz. They did incredible work.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I usually do thorough pass of my email in the morning and late afternoon, but you can always give me a call.
