Florida Supreme Court Clarifies Standard for Private-Sector Whistleblower Claims
Seyfarth Synopsis: On May 28, 2026, the Florida Supreme Court issued a significant decision in Gessner v. Southern Company, clarifying the standard for retaliation claims under Florida’s Private Sector Whistle‑Blower’s Act (“FWA”). The Court held that an employee must prove that the employer’s conduct actually violates a law, rule, or regulation—not merely that the employee reasonably or in good faith believed the conduct was unlawful.

Alex Tried Four Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks, and Here's Her Verdict
Hi, friends! Alex here. I’m not sure about you guys, but I had no idea until recently that our beloved Starbucks has a secret menu! Between social media and some other blog posts, I’ve been seeing so many amazing looking fall-ish “secret menu” drinks that I have been dying to try. And welp, that’s exactly what I did! I went right down the street to my local Starbucks (a sentence I NEVER thought would leave my mouth growing up on the ranch in good ole Pawhuska, OK…haha.
Watch The Pioneer Woman's Husband Ladd Drummond Gather Cattle
Hello! Welcome back to my (and my dad's!) video series on weaning and gathering. As promised, below I’m going to share the rest of the videos my dad sent me from last week’s gathering. These next videos are my favorite, and you’ll see why! This video was my favorite that my dad sent. Here they were crossing over to a different pasture and going through a gate, and a calf decided he had other plans! My dad got a kick out of it, too.
Watch Ladd Drummond Gather Cattle on The Pioneer Woman's Ranch
I opened my eyes around 7:30am on Thursday morning to five text messages from my dad, which he had sent an hour earlier. He sent me a handful of videos from that morning’s gathering. He wanted to send them to me to show me what I’m missing out on at the ranch, but he also wanted me to share the videos with you all! It’s weaning season on the ranch, so he and the cowboys have been super busy trying to get all of the calves weaned.
