Alex is a professional journalist and editor with over 10 years of newsroom experience and over 8 years of media training.
He has worked as a news Editor in radio and Television stations in Kenya and Tanzania and as a media trainer in tertiary institutions and one University in Kenya.
Currently, Alex is a freelance writer with an online newspaper- Talk Africa, and a part-time lecturer at KCA University in the Department of Journalism and Digital Media Studies.
Alex is also involved in civil society work as a volunteer with a community-based organization called the Network for Research and Governance (NRG).
Alex is a member of the Emerging Leaders Coalition, a global coalition that advocates ending Violence Against Women and Girls.
He has experience in writing for various formats such as blogs, articles, digital media, website copy, SEO, and public relations. His expertise lies in creating high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and relevant to the target audience.
Alex is proficient in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili. Additionally, He possesses computer literacy and social media management skills.
