Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant with Centripetal Advisors, where he works with enterprise SaaS startups to help them scale. He also invests in his clients when the opportunity arises. With his entrepreneurial background and financial expertise, he assists SaaS founders in navigating the complexities of business growth. Having built and managed his businesses, Alexander comprehensively understands startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations.
In 2022, Alexander acquired XO Expresso Bar, a specialty coffee shop known for its high-quality coffee and wellness drinks. He secured investor financing to expand the café into Miami, where he now serves as the owner and CEO. Alexander oversees two locations' business development, financial planning, procurement, human resources, and payroll. He has also ventured into wholesale operations and seeks new locations and franchise partners. A new luxury location in Miami Beach is set to open later this year. Additionally, Alexander secured a three-year consulting and coffee supply agreement with Yann Couvreur, a prestigious French patisserie, for his café locations.
In 2021, Alex Schifter co-founded Hello Arthur, a marketplace designed to help healthcare providers purchase medical and dental supplies directly from manufacturers. The company was named in honor of his grandfather, Arthur Schifter, who helped provide essential medical supplies during the AIDS epidemic. Hello, Arthur reached six figures in revenue but was eventually wound down as Alexander focused on expanding XO Expresso Bar.
Alexander's career began in 2015 as an Investment Bank Analyst at AGC Partners, where he worked on M&A advisory for middle-market technology companies. Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. He then joined DCA, a boutique investment bank, where he contributed to several deals in the digital media and technology sectors. At Pharus Advisors, Alexander continued to develop his expertise in M&A advisory, equity capital raises, and financial modeling across various industries.
At Trousdale Capital Management, now Numeta Capital, Alexander served as Vice President in the technology growth equity space. There, he focused on sourcing and executing investments in enterprise software companies. He evaluated investment opportunities, conducted due diligence, and prepared financial models and memos.
Alexander graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies. While at Tufts, he competed as an NCAA varsity athlete in cross country and track. Outside of his professional pursuits, Alexander is committed to philanthropy, raising funds for cancer research, Habitat for Humanity, and the ALS Association.
