Alicia Cocchi’s Biography

Alicia Cocchi is the Social Video Director at The San Francisco Standard, where she leads the newsroom's social video strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. She develops original video franchises, oversees creator collaborations, and works with reporters to turn local journalism into engaging social-first storytelling.

Before joining The Standard, Alicia helped grow WIRED's TikTok presence to more than one million followers and spent years producing television news, earning three Emmy nominations for her work. She has nearly two decades of experience in video production, audience development, and digital storytelling.
