If you struggle to learn then this is for you.
I have kept up with technology for almost a decade and most remote developers I worked with ask me how am I doing this. Let's assume that we have to learn something and that something is number 1 to 10. Every number is an entire section so they are complicated. Now ideally learning 1 and then 2 then 3 and so on is how we learn. This linear fashion of learning is not how I have been doing it for the last decade.
The creation of Power Bar in Astrocot (an astrology system).
I created a command bar (Power Bar) to control the system (Sky Chart) using readable text instead of using buttons. When I was building this last year I did not know much about how AI works. Since I have been working on AI integration and AI workflows for a while now. I came to a big realization 😅. Most companies who integrates AI they are using APIs provided by the AI companies like ChatGPT, Gemini or Deepseek.
Your talent is invisible without presence.
You can build the most secure architecture in the world. You can write the cleanest code in the industry. You can solve the most complex B2B supply chain logic. But if you aren't present where your customers are, you donโt exist. In 2026, "Presence" isn't just showing up; itโs: Building in public. Owning your data and your narrative. Being the signal in a world full of AI-generated noise. Presence is the bridge between a "great idea" and a "successful business".
A better architecture
If you have not understood by now then let me remind you the time you or your team went down through all those codes you wrote few months or years ago and now you have to do that all over again. This is a very common pattern with established systems. Improvement work is either done or skipped due to higher risk rate. And only selected portion of the work is pushed forward. This is a where most systems go down the rabbit hole! Every client I have worked with in the past wants to get things done fast.
Who cares about speed?
After 8 years of software engineering, the one thing I am good at is something that nobody really cares about. This reality has hit me hard many times. Who cares about performance if it costs you slightly more investment. Who cares about architecture if it costs you more. Who cares about 0.35 second of improvement or even 2 seconds of faster load time for that matter. This was a very strange reality I came across when I began the journey of building products few years back.

No one talks about GraphQL anymore!
Let me jump right in, the perfect analogy for describing GraphQL is equivalent to what Typescript is to Javascript. In the REST API, payload and end-points are not typed whereas in GraphQL request and response are pre-determined using specified types and we all know the benefits of having typed languages. This is the core principle of GraphQL with other added benefits. So why is no one talking about GraphQL anymore?
One script, one window, multiple attached commands
Every time I started working on a project I had open up two to three different Terminal windows to start development work 🙄. One to start the Docker, other to start the server and finally one more to run the frontend. And viewing logs on all these terminal one after the other was also getting annoying so I did some research and found something incredible 🚀. You can create one script and chain different commands using & to run multiple attached sessions as shown below.
Model Driven Flutter Integration Test Masterclass
You know how sometimes we end up making changes to our code, and those changes affect parts of the project we didn’t even think about? Well, I’ve been there too. It happened to me when I launched my first commercial app in 2021. Features change all the time, and it’s tough to make sure everything works after major or minor code changes. And even with unit and widget tests, they weren’t enough to help. It was getting really frustrating to keep the project and the tests in sync.
Printing HTML best technique with sample receipt.
I have been experementing with printing invoices using Javascript and Tailwindcss. After several trials and errors the following is the best configuration I found to get the optimal results. (optional) Configure Tailwindcss If you are using tailwindcss to style your invoice then you can set the following configuration to access to 'print' and 'screen' prefixes that you can use to hide/show content based on your requirements.
We are very familiar with degrees so I won't explain it here. Degree is not the only unit of measurement for the angles. The other way to measure angles is called Radians (rad or c). If you look at the image below, you can see that if the radius of the circle is equal to the arc length which is technically called "Arc subtrends theta", then that particular angle is 1 radian. As we know circumference of a circle is 2πr.
Launching my first game soon!
After 7 years of software development I have decided to become a game developer and this is my first game.
You will use Git Tags all the time now! 😄
Git has the ability to tag specific points in a repository’s history. This is useful to mark releases (like v1.2 or v2.0). What you will learn? Types of git tags and how to create them? List existing git tags. How to delete a git tag? How to move the last tag to the latest commit? How to edit a tag message? How to get the code from a specific tag? Types of git tags and how to create them? There are two types of git tags: lightweight and annotated. Most of the time you will use Annotated tags.
Experienced engineers I need your feedback!
I want to know what is the average response time of an app if the database has millions of records. I built an app with Golang and MongoDB, seeded database with 20 millions records as shown in the image below which took about 49 minutes. And an API with multiple MongoDB Aggregation Pipeline stages responded the data pretty fast (<500ms) does this mean that this is an average result! and that the app has to be tested with 100M+ records in order to actually see the true performance?
Say no to PDF in Illustrator!
Illustrator and PDF Document PDF document cannot be effectively built in Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator is built for vector images and graphic design. Vector images and graphics are made of points, lines, shapes, and curves based on mathematical formulas rather than a set amount of pixels, and therefore can be scaled up or down while maintaining image quality. However, when it comes to PDF document where we work mostly with "Text" Illustrator lacks several features.
Javascript DOM vs BOM!
DOM DOM stands for Document Object Model and represents the web page. This allows programs to manipulate the document structure, style, and content. const listDiv = document.getElementById("list-div"); listDiv.classList.add('new-class'); listDiv.classList.remove('new-class'); BOM BOM stands for Browser Object Model and represents the browser's window. This allows programs to access browsers functionalities. BOM is like the big container which contains DOM and all other javascript stuff.
Flutter: Wireless Android Development
If you have experienced the amazing wireless development/debugging mode on iOS then you must have wondered if it is possible in Android too? I wondered the same thing for a while and found out that it is not as straight forward as using wireless debugging mode in the XCode and iPhone. For Android we have to follow a few steps manually. Enable developer mode on the Android device. Turn on wireless debugging on the device. Set the adb port. Connect to the device using device IP.
Declaration using const vs freeze in Javascript
Javascript const Using const we can still modify the contents of a Javascript objects but the reference to this object will be immutable. const product = {name: "Sugar", weight: "1 kg"}; product.name = "Some New Name"; console.log(product); {name:"Some New Name",weight:"1 kg"} Javascript freeze Using freeze is preferred in cases where we do not want to modify the contents of an object.
HTTP/HTTPS and 7 more Network Protocols you should know about.
Network Protocols are a standardized way of meaningful communication between two or more devices over a network/internet. HTTP/HTTPS Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is used to transmit a text data (a web page or JSON) from a server to a browser/frontend. Http is a stateless protocol where a client opens a connection and waits for a response from the server. A SSL secured version of HTTP is HTTPS.
Why would you choose GraphQL over REST API?
I have been working with full-stack development with GraphQL for almost 3 years. I found out that GraphQL is a lot complicated and requires more setup than the REST API. It also has a steep learning curve. And both the frontend and backend has to work slightly more in order to get the same things done. Despite all of these facts I would still choose GraphQL for my next project 😄. And I want to explain why and when you could decide to use GraphQL for your next project.
Say no to console.log!
Do you always use console.log in your projects during development? And even though we will keep using console.log, there are other alternatives that will make your development more fun and productive. console.dir() For hierarchical listing of arrays and objects. console.dir(["apples", "oranges", "bananas"]); console.table() For rows and columns listing of objects and arrays.
Why I chose Svelte over React?
Svelte and React are both used for Web development. React is a fantastic tool which has dominated the industry for a while now whereas Svelte is newer in the field and is gaining significant popularity. Overview When I first heard about Svelte I wanted to try it out and was surprised to see how less code you have to write to do the same amount of work in React.
New hooks in React 19
It is easy to miss out on latest upgrades so here is a small preview of new hooks in React 19. Please note that this is a highlevel overview for React developers. useActionState Used For - Form handling.
What is zoom in Web Design? A funny story.
Almost every software engineer comes across a time where they start designing. And when you are designing your own product you want to make sure that it is close to perfection! But something terrible happened which made me realize the importance of setting browser's zoom to 100% when designing on web lol.
Flutter and GraphQL with Authentication
You will learn, How to get the schema from the backend? How to use a code generation tool to make things easier? How to make a GraphQL API request? How to renew the access token? I will jump right in! Code Links: Get the source code from here. Global search on the project on VSCode or any IDE and replace the following with your base url. http://localhost:8000/graphql Install packages from package.json file. yarn install # or npm install Give permission to run the script.
