Allison Keck

Allison Keck is currently working towards a master of science in curriculum and instruction at Texas A&M - Commerce. In addition, she is working in the seventh-grade language arts department at a middle school in Frisco, Texas. Allison Keck brings to this role her experience as a student teacher at the fifth-grade level in a nearby elementary school. In that role, she worked with students on a one-on-one basis and in groups.

In late 2013, Allison Keck completed the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TexES) generalist test for teachers of grades four through eight. She is currently preparing for her Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) test, which she intends to sit in late spring in 2014. She anticipates receipt of her state certification after completing this exam.

Ms. Keck will complete the requirements for her master's degree in 2015. In the meantime, she will continue to gain classroom experience and to balance her pre-professional studies with her parental responsibilities.
