By Heather Van Benthem The Surveyor The Downtown Berthoud Merchants Collaborative, a group comprising a dozen or so merchants along and near Mountain Avenue, have been busy elves coming up with fun ideas for a festive downtown Berthoud Christmas. Saturday, Dec. 7, is going to be a busy day. Cowboy Christmas in front of The Rancher’s Wife is back and bigger than ever this year. “It’s kind of like the winter block party,” said owner Kelly Canino. Carolers on horseback set the jolly tone for the day.
