Financing for business owners and complex tax return?
Sounds to me like you're just making excuses of why they won't loan you money and excluding a lot of critical information. They don't look favorably today on those avoiding taxes and claiming they're really making a lot of money. However, they're not in the business of turning away credit worthy customers. $400k is a substantial loan to someone not reporting income. Depreciation isn't a get out of debt free card as depreciable assets require renewing and replacing. Lenders are not stupid.
Underwater lights - are they worth it?
I love my underwater lights and would probably install them on any boat I have. I had a set of Lumitec Seablaze X's for 5 years on my current boat before one failed. I replaced them with a new set of Lumitec's. With all due respect to the other boaters on here I find it hard to believe that drilling a couple of 5/16th's holes into your transom in significantly undermining the structural integrity of the the boat, cored or not as long as proper precautions are taken.
South Florida Mini Loop
We've gone through in up to 85' boats and drafts up to 5'3". At current depths you could even do greater. Our preference is to be at the first lock when they open for the day and then try to cross in one day or, at worse, make it most of the way and finish early on day two. I would assume you cruise the East Coast all the time so won't comment on Key West to Stuart. On the west coast there are many great areas to spend time. We love Fort Myers for a day. Then Sanibel Island can be fun.
MAN V10 - 1050hp LE403s
mapism said: ↑ Well it seems that we are all going by what we were told... Coming to think of it, years ago one dealer did mention to me the partialization on just one bank. But afterwards, I had a chance to speak with the chief engineer of the official MAN distributor, before actually buying a MAN-powered boat. He's the one who told me that there's no cutout on any mechanical engine.
searay l650 bridge
Discussion in 'Sea Ray Yacht' started by ameriboat, . I was looking into the Searay 65 bridge but have not been hearing good things about the boat. I would love to hear from some owners of what items are defective or just failing so that i could do my homework and see if it's just cosmetic issues or structural or a little of both and a lot of laziness and the i dont give a damm attitude from the line.
