i grew up in franklin, michigan, a leafy suburb outside of detroit and adjacent to beverly hills, bloomfield hills, bingham farms, and birmingham, four other motown suburbs with fancy names. born in boston, massachusetts, i am a graduate of western michigan university, where i gained a knowledge and love for the english and french languages, being a know-it-all, and reality television.
