After packing up her life and resigning from her job as a journalist at the ABC in Sydney, our friend Clare Atkinson has spent the past year living her dream of travelling around Australia with her partner, Lewis. Clare and Lewis returned from their trip in late November with a swag of memories and new friends. They planned to spend three weeks at Clare’s parents’ place just outside of Brisbane, then had tickets booked to be in Wales with Lewis’ parents for Christmas.
