Alexandra Markus Hutz

Alexandra Markus Hutz is a Group Copy Supervisor and former adjunct professor of biomedical sciences. She holds a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and a Master of Public Health from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has worked as a biomedical scientist researching the impact of vitamin D on tuberculosis infection and progression, and as an assistant epidemiologist at the Health Ministry. She is passionate about promoting scientific and health literacy in the wider community.

Her journalism work and some of her copywriting is included in this portfolio. Most of her copywriting pieces were not included in this portfolio as they were for internal medical education and training by companies such as AstraZeneca, Bausch Health, Novartis, and Sanofi, thus protected under NDA.
