1. Introduction The Elastic modulus (E-modulus) is a key parameter in the mechanical behaviour of materials and structures, and it is especially relevant in the field of civil engineering. The measurement of E-modulus is particularly important for the hardening of materials used in critical applications, such as high-rise concrete buildings or special engineering structures. In these cases, Ultra- High Performance Concrete (UHPC) and Ultra High Performance Mortar (UHPM) are commonly employed.
