Why did you become a journalist?
I had always been a writer, but journalism spoke to my social justice side. I felt that I could make the most impact with my words.

Nowadays, you have to expand your skillset. This includes video, photography and a versatile yet professional voice.

The best pitch so far has been to edit a book for an upcoming author.

Writing dating profiles.
