Amy Sward’s Biography
Amy is an award-winning journalist with a passion for travel. Her love of travel began at an early age, traveling with her family to three continents before she turned 16. Amy graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Political Science. Her career began at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then took her to several news stations in Denver, Colorado. She worked as a casting agent and story manager for two shows on HGTV and was the Public Information Officer for a small Colorado town. Her writing has been featured on MSN, Travel Awaits, and Home & Design.
Amy grew up in Northern Virginia and currently resides outside of Nashville with her husband, two kids, and goldendoodle. She is determined to instill the travel bug in her kids by always having at least one trip always planned.
