PR vs Costa Rica for girls trip
Puerto Rico is tiny! It’s only 100x35, so where are they going to put all those cows that can survive on sand and saltwater? lol This is why the Caribbean population consumes a lot of small livestock food and people keep chickens! They are easy and cheap to raise. When I was younger, we would go to the farms to buy whole pigs for celebrations.
While Africans today seem keen on rejecting their cultural heritage, the enslaved Africans in the Americas made the opposite choice
Chikodiri Nwangwu On 18 December 2023, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State in North-Central Nigeria banned the state’s civil servants from wearing flowing gowns, otherwise known locally as kaftan or babanriga, during working hours, instructing that “civil servants are permitted to wear only English attires during the working days” except on Fridays.
Professor Ransford Gyampo Writes To Sir Sam Jonah
Dear Mr Sam Jonah, I am told you have praised the Lithium deal that gives Ghana about 13 percent of our Lithium proceeds and 87 percent to foreigners. But sir, you are aware of an emerging and more improved transactional model that has been adopted by major Lithium producers, such as Mexico, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. So, why you decided to praise the current deal in Ghana baffles me. As you may be aware, the Ghanaian people, including myself have a lot of respect for you.
What’s there to do in Puerto Rico??

Puerto is such a beautiful and interesting place. You can literally just take a walk or sit and people watch while taking in the vibe. Outside of Africa, it's one of my favorite places.

Dolly Parton says she turned down the halftime show MANY times
Back in the day her being the feature would have been hot! Now that she's up there, it would be hot if they did a living legends halftime with Dolly, Patti, Diana and maybe Barbra and they could sing each other's signature songs. I'd watch that...
Black British actor/director David Oyelowo and his Yoruba-Saxon productions bring 'Bass Reeves' series to TV
Don't agree with it. But there are many Black American men in the industry that could have told this story a decade ago and even now, if they wanted too. Chadwick was churning out biopics quite often while he was here on Earth. Taylor Sheridan was the white male producer that started developing this series in 2021 and then David hopped on board on 2022. I wonder why no one questions why many Black American men have a lack of urgency to tell their own stories.
Michael J. Fox, 62, discusses his 'tsunami of misfortune' after having a spinal tumour and 'almost losing' his hand after an infection
After a life-changing diagnosis, the actor and author has raised billions for Parkinson’s research and personified grace under pressure. So why is he waiting for the other shoe to drop? A couple of years ago, Davis Guggenheim experienced a confounding emotion familiar to anyone who spends time with Michael J. Fox.
Swarm of bees attack & kill FOUR pet dogs as devastated owner of Sansa, Khaleesi, Drogo & Pancake threatens to sue neighbor who kept the insects
This seems like a freak accident! Many people keep bees in my area, with people of all ages and pets passing by daily. Municipalities usually have rules regarding the number of hives on a property, how far they must be located from the property line, fencing, etc. If the neighbors were following the rules, I don't see how they could be held liable? Of course, IANAL... I do wonder if the hive was disturbed somehow? Not saying it was the family with the dogs, but really wondering what happened??
Only answer should be "sorry, won't happen again"
LaVieBoheme Block and ignore the racists. Don’t feed them. #2 Why do some women give (some admitting undeserving and undesirable) males access to other women without consent and when confronted, argue you down or are dismissive? Why are they okay with violating another's boundaries, especially when told not to do so? Yet still see themselves as friends of the woman they do this to? What does this mean? Are you talking about women setting other women up to get raped? This is deviant, criminal behavior.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (trailer)
Looks good. I can’t remember if it is the last installment of the franchise, but maybe only a few years ago I saw on tv the one w/ Woody Harrelson in which Caesar dies and that ending was just a tearjerker. I like some of Andy Serkis’ work and he really did a very good job with the Caesar role.

Does your man have a nose ring??
I've never seen a heterosexual man pull off a nose ring...only Tupac...and I'm someone who advocates for heterosexual men to try out fashion styles that are typically feminine (or associated with women). There's just something about a nose piercing that rarely looks good on a man (same with a skirt/dress). Maybe it's just too feminine for me to be attracted to...and I am a Prince stan. My man can wear heels before he can wear a nose ring.
Why do men find Beyonce too much and unattractive in comparison to Rihanna?
This is all a damned lie. A lot of dudes think Rihanna is overrated looks wise. Also, I think to a lot of men…Beyonce being fine as fµck is a 30’year old thing. We all know that, and have went thru a Beyoncé Phase and also, how many women and gay men fawn over her and obsess over her has made a lot of straight men just say “fµck it” cause it’s nauseating and annoying with all the hype. Also, she’s been letting Jay-Z smash for 20 years. We’re all over it.
