Why did you become a journalist?
I always enjoyed writing, but I loved sharing my opinions even more. Turns out this is the best combination of those things!
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was an editor for my high school’s poetry magazine, "The Final Draft."
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I had the pleasure and privilege of interviewing Steve Wozniak in 2011. I was 18 years old and that made me believe this could be a career.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just keep writing!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Hanging out with my wife and our Golden Retriever. That, or cooking, listening to records, or reading tax code for fun.
