I am just back from a few weeks of adventure in B.C.’s wildspaces. Going through a few missed issues of Pique, I was pleased, then shocked, and then saddened to read the feature on BC Parks. Specifically, it was the .06 per cent funding Parks receives from B.C.’s government budget that got me triggered. Shameful. After generations of poor policy that contributed to the plunder and exploitation of B.C.’s natural resources, now is the time to invest and do something different.
