Letter: Gov. Gordon, time to stop, look and listen to your constituents
In a recent editorial, Gov. Gordon poo-poos public concerns about data centers and cites the old “Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way” quote. However, he would be wise to “Stop, Look and Listen” to the concerns of Wyoming citizens. Gov. Gordon talks about lost economic opportunities but fails to acknowledge the real impacts and concerns facing Wyoming citizens. Gov.
Letter: May Day Strong movement should encourage shopping local
There is a National Movement, really not just a day, called May Day Strong. It encourages active participation in all types of events aimed at sending a message to billionaires that they should not be immune to taxes and that workers deserve better. Though I admire the energy and the time put into successfully organizing this national event, I’m not entirely on board. The thing is, us crusty Wyomingites like to do things right. Letter to the editor: Gidinawemaaganinaanig: Endazhigiyang (All Our Relations: The Place Where We All Grow)
Information on OU’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of Native American cultures and contributions, as well as the ultimate goal of these efforts. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians).

Letter to the editor: contract negotiations, a bridge ready to collapse
Andrea Knutson, Contributor August 16, 2021 I’m a member of Oakland University’s chapter of the American Association of University Professors, and while our bargaining team undergoes contract negotiations (happening now during a temporary extension of our contract), I want to record how this impacts me, and by extension, possibly, other faculty, who are watching as OU slashes and burns its relationship with us.
What Do Colonial Plantations and Whole Foods Have in Common?
As COVID-19 spread across the United States this past spring, and stay at home orders were put in place to contain the spread of the coronavirus, hoarding became the new inconvenient norm. People flocked to stores to buy as many supplies as they could. Hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, and face masks were the first to disappear. The main food staples for the long term, like beans, rice, and canned goods, also quickly became scarce.
