1 Introduction Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that causes significant morbidity in pediatric patients [1, 2]. HS affects approximately 0.028% of children and adolescents in the United States, with higher prevalence observed in African American girls aged 15–17 years [3]. Moreover, pediatric HS is frequently underdiagnosed, with a median symptom duration of 2.5 years prior to formal HS diagnosis [4].
