It means being animated by good questions and vibrant discussion.
Why did you become a journalist?
For as long as I can remember, I have been animated by telling stories - both mine and other peoples'.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My cover story for The Jerusalem Report about sex abuse in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read as much as you can, and learn how to learn the ropes. Small-town newspapers are a terrific training ground for moving up.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time. I prefer email pitches
What's your favorite drink?
Not sure. It's a tie between Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Dr Browns Black Cherry soda

I've covered so many different topics that I've never really stuck to one "beat"
