Andrew Hill’s Biography
I write long-form features, interviews and columns and chair and moderate events, online and in person. I also sit on the Editorial Board, which determines the FT leader line. For 11 years I wrote the FT's weekly column on management. I'm a frequent guest speaker, panellist, moderator and broadcaster. I’m the author of Ruskinland, about the life, work and enduring influence of John Ruskin (2019) and Leadership in the Headlines, a collection of my best columns on leadership (2016).
At the FT, I've been Management Editor, City Editor, New York Bureau Chief, Foreign News Editor and a correspondent in Brussels, Milan and London.
I also helped launch and still run the FT Business Book of the Year Award.
