I can't say that I have, but I appreciate the appeal of using one.

News is instant now. If you don't have something insightful to say about the news you'll be lost to the void.

Making the world a better place by informing others and searching for truth.

was a fun way to make people aware of important research.

Give me a few key points to look into and I'll do the rest. I'll be sure to ask questions if I need any clarification.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
There is so much information available to us because of the internet. As long as we perform our due diligence in verifying it.

I like to browse reddit at my leisure.

Why did you become a journalist?
I want to create, and make the world a better place. I think that I am best suited to do that using my words to inform others.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Regrettably, no. I didn't realize at the time it was something I might have had an interest in.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
"Why Monster Hunter: World's Small File Size is a Big Deal." I poured my heart and soul into it and couldn't help but share it with friends.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
"Why?" and "How?" are the most valuable questions to ask if you want to further your understanding about something.
When's the best time to pitch you?
It's never a bad time if the pitch is good.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
It was for a guide I wrote. I was glad to see people benefitting from the work I put into it.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I'd prefer to be discreet and not say.
What's your favorite drink?
I am perfectly content with a cool, refreshing glass of water, or some hot tea to warm me up.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Nothing beats a hearty meal with family and friends.

NPR does a great job presenting articles in multiple formats to make them easy to understand and insightful.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I'm passionate about games and science. Both are creative endeavors underrated in that respect.
