Questa settimana ricorre il primo anniversario dell’invasione su vasta scala dell’Ucraina da parte della Russia. Molte migliaia sono state uccise e altri milioni sfollati. Il PIL dell’Ucraina è diminuito di circa il 40%. E più di diecimila ucraini hanno perso gli arti. Di fronte a questa insensata violenza e distruzione, il Superhumans Center, l’ente di beneficenza che dirigo, sta costruendo un centro medico di livello mondiale nel bel mezzo di una guerra.
