2.1. Data Collection and Study Population Medical data from all adult patients (≥18 years of age) who underwent LR at the University Hospital of Leipzig between April 2016 and September 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients with missing data (N = 2) or an unknown time of lactate measurement (N = 2) were excluded from the study.
