Andy Smith is a freelance writer and editor based in Charlotte, N.C. He began his career as a writer and copy editor at newspapers in West Virginia, where he was raised. He currently serves two roles for Charlotte magazine: arts editor and web editor. He continues to freelance for other publications, including Vital, Outreach, Creative Loafing, and others.
