‘The Absence of God’ - Ghost Depicts Industrialized Dystopia on “Meliora”
The Swedish theatrical metal troupe’s third album gets recognized 10 years later Ghost is the ultimate entity for admirers of heavy metal and theatre. The group, satirizing the Catholic Church by praising the Devil instead of God, is fronted by Tobias Forge, who dons a prosthetic mask and devilish papal regalia under the pseudonym Papa Emeritus. In the eyes of devout liturgics, Ghost’s schtick is blasphemous and has become the root of some minor controversies over the years.
25 Reasons We Love 'Jaws'
You may not know the technical term, but you definitely know the shot. Also known as the Vertigo effect (thanks to its famous use in Hitchcock’s movie of the same name), the shot occurs as Brody witnesses poor Alex Kitner meet his demise. Achieved by a combination of dollying a camera away from the subject while zooming in on them at the same speed (or vice versa), the result is a disorienting effect that works to represent Brody’s terror and realization of what’s happening before him.

Their most introspective record to date Sustaining an ongoing 15-year professional career is a challenge for most modern bands. In recent years Ghost has succeeded to the highest degree. One of the 21st century’s best-selling groups releases its first singles collection Collaborations by Aerosmith/Run DMC and Anthrax/Public Enemy bridged the gap between rock and rap. By the early 2000s, Linkin Park became the poster boys of the nu-metal movement. The muscle of Chester Bennington’s passionate vocals and Brad Delson’s crunchy guitar riffs juxtaposed Mike Shinoda’s rapping and Joe Hahn’s sampling/scratching, with bassist Dave Farrell and drummer Rob Bourdon gluing it all together.

Nick Jensen Blood Drive Bobblehead!
It only took Nick Jensen a few games to show us why trading for him was such an incredible move, and now it’s only taken him a few months to get himself a bobblehead. After 20 regular season games and 7 playoff games, we have already caught a glimpse of the defensemen that will likely bolster our top four for the duration of his four-year deal (inked moments after the Caps acquired him). Now, before even entering that contract, we will get to add him to the collection.

The Last Easton Stealth CNT for Mike Green?
(Caps Outsider) As many of you know, Mike Green’s favorite stick is the Easton Stealth CNT, which was discontinued back in 2008. Green has gone to great lengths in getting more of them, and fans have even returned sticks to him that they had purchased. However, the sticks are still hard to come by, and with only a few in his possession, he is looking high and low to find more. Recently, Caps Outsider took a trip across the border to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Fans saw both head coaches pack their bags, as well as the general manager in Washington.
