YES! I used to write short stories for myself as a kid on an old typewriter in the early 2000s. It was so clunky but I loved it.

I have a love hate relationship with every fictional journalist I have ever read, especially Camille in Sharp Objects
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means a lot of hard work. A lot of dedication. And it means pushing yourself to learn about work-life balance in a hectic industry.

Reaper for audio editing, Qwoted for sourcing, and Otter.ai for transcriptions

I was a contributing writer and editor.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm especially proud of my story about climate gentrification for Massive Science. It took me months to research and write that article.
