Ankit Kumar’s Biography

Ankit Kumar is a seasoned journalist specialising in International Relations, with a deep interest in the interconnectedness of politics, history, economics, society, and culture. With a strong background in research and leadership, his experience includes working with Grant Thornton, Jagran English, DSA Magazine, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Ankit holds a postgraduate degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Delhi, an ongoing degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from IGNOU, and an undergraduate degree in Physics and Mathematics from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. He also attended the International Summer Programme on Poverty and Mental Health at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Passionate about sustainability, Ankit has led initiatives promoting sustainable economic growth and exploring the role of technology in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. He has contributed a chapter to Women Empowerment in India: Issues and Challenges (2023) and written extensively on foreign policy, climate change, education, finance, and India’s global relations in Jagran English.
