Ann Gorewitz’s Biography
My writing tends to be about three different passions: My beloved dog Cassie, coping with my husband's illnesses, and the Brooklyn neighborhood where I grew up in the 1960's - the culture, the people, family and friends. It's an era that has vanished and morphed into hipsters, being cool, and organic foods. Can you believe people then were embarrassed to say they were from Brooklyn? Now it's world wide famous and a badge of honor.
As a ten time NYC Marathon finisher and six time olympic-distance NYC triathlete, I enjoy participating in endurance events as well as writing about the experience
