Ann Rezarch is a mediator for the Polk County Restorative Justice, Community-Represented Dialogue Program. Cynthia Erickson is a community volunteer for the Polk County Restorative Justice, Community-Represented Dialogue Program. We are part of a program in which people convicted of driving while intoxicated are required to have conversations with a member of the public. The court has made all decisions about guilt and consequences. They come to us bruised, defiant, mortified, defeated and wary.
