Anna Fleck is a Berlin-based journalist with a background in breaking news and data-driven storytelling. She began her career in London, collaborating on investigative documentary projects before moving to Berlin, where she led a team in a video news agency and worked as a freelance proofreader for DER SPIEGEL’s Middle East desk. Anna later joined TALES as a researcher, where she started to focus more closely on environmental and social justice issues. Today, she approaches these topics through a lens of data journalism, considering how different perspectives can be gleaned through statistics to provide factual, ethical and nuanced reporting.
