Interview
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
For LA Review of Books, I use Microsoft 365 products. At the New Books Network, I record interviews using Zencastr.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter, because it's the only one I think Oscar Wilde would even *consider*
Why did you become a journalist?
Coming from academia (PhD in American Studies & Film), I look to translate my expertise for a public audience with insight and humor.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I started as a writer, became the Arts editor, and, by the time I was a senior, the co-Editor in Chief.
What's your favorite drink?
Iced coffee in the morning... iced tea in the afternoon... wine in the evening. (Somewhere in there, I should drink a glass of water, right?)
