CNN Exclusive: 'How am I in this war?': New Musk biography offers fresh details about the billionair
Source: CNN Elon Musk secretly ordered his engineers to turn off his company’s Starlink satellite communications network near the Crimean coast last year to disrupt a Ukrainian sneak attack on the Russian naval fleet, according to an excerpt adapted from Walter Isaacson’s new biography of the eccentric billionaire titled “Elon Musk.” As Ukrainian submarine drones strapped with explosives approached the Russian fleet, they “lost connectivity and washed ashore harmlessly,” Isaacson writes.
Peter Navarro is NOT having a good day. 😆
From Wiki: The Green Bay Sweep is the name of a procedural strategy to attempt to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election advocated by Peter Navarro. He outlined the plot in a book published in November 2021 and spoke about it in multiple media interviews. It took its name from the Packers sweep, where the Green Bay Packers of the 1950s and '60s, led by Vince Lombardi, would flood a zone with blockers, allowing the football to be advanced dependably behind them.
A brilliant explanation of how Vivek Ramaswamy made his money.
Response to Yavin4 (Original post) Wed Aug 30, 2023, 11:16 AM Make your money and run leaving your hapless marks with empty wallets. Perfect! Ramaswamy is a prime example of the get-filthy-rich-over-night crew, the tech bros and financial fraud fraternity that spin tall tales, promise huge dividends to investors but are nothing more than parasites. Take note: the media and financial 'journalists' hype these people, in the same way that Donald J.

Prosecutors now say Trump "possessed and showed" the Iran war plan to the people
Maybe most notably, prosecutors revealed that the Iran war plan was retained at Mar-a-Lago, even though his conversation about it took place in Bedminster. NEW: Prosecutors sought to eviscerate 2 of Trump's recent claims about the documents case — that he eagerly shared security footage and that he didn't show anyone an Iran war plan — adding charges that sharply increase his legal peril ?s=20 ?s=20
US Supreme Court rejects computer scientist's lawsuit over AI-generated inventions
Source: Reuters The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a challenge by computer scientist Stephen Thaler to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's refusal to issue patents for inventions his artificial intelligence system created. The justices turned away Thaler's appeal of a lower court's ruling that patents can be issued only to human inventors and that his AI system could not be considered the legal creator of two inventions that he has said it generated.

My heart breaks for the victims of the Colorado Springs shooting, but AOC isn’t here for hollow expressions of sympathy. After Lauren Boebert offered “thoughts and prayers” to victims and their families, AOC was quick to call her out for her own culpability in the violence. On point as always, AOC. Elon Musk starts Twitter poll on whether to bring back Trump
Response to groundloop (Original post) Sat Nov 19, 2022, 01:30 AM 1. Yes, I saw that, but the question was not clear... "Re-instate" Trump to Twitter, or reinstate Trump to the Presidency ?? (A Q-Anon fantasy) Since Musk has retweeted Q-Anon fantasies in the past, I am not sure what his poll question intended to ask...

Response to NullTuples (Reply #7) Sat Nov 12, 2022, 01:17 PM 29. Not true Just because there are no explicit rules. He is still guilty of plain fraud if he did anything different with customer's money or digital assets. He supposedly said your money was merely held for your own trades no clear mention he'd grab them to prop up a different business. Even if the user agreement allowed him, if he publicly and marketed different then his actions he is a fraudster.

That will require coordinating persons of authority in our acronym salad.... of spy organizations to agree on the scopes of their various vulnerabilities to mayhem and admit to them. I expect it is as complicated as (or even more so than) all the undercover black ops of WWII or maybe herding cats. The DOJ will need to convince these territorial and bureaucratically cynical spy guys that justice is the supreme authority and priority.

I share your overall view of him as a politician, but this conversation started over the word usage of "insanely". We have an enormous pile of evidence what right wing "crazy" looks like. So, I'm only pushing back against the notion that he fits into the "insane" category. Remember. I wouldn't vote for him either.

Response to ebbie15644 (Reply #6) Fri Jul 1, 2022, 12:49 PM 23. It used to be that the old-time GOP - before the "religious right" came butting in - ... hated the Roe ruling but it wasn't because they had religious scruples. They opposed abortion when poor folks got their abortions paid for by Medicaid. The old-time Repukes didn't want the government paying for abortions and other "family planning" because it would make THEIR taxes go up.
