Anthoni Duncan’s Biography
Anthoni Duncan is a writer, editor, and PR professional with over a decade of experience amplifying voices and building impactful narratives. She began her editorial journey in 2003, launching the Spotlight Corner column in Huskie Highlights at Northern Illinois University, where she highlighted emerging talent and community changemakers.
In 2012, she founded Local Black Stars Magazine, championing local business owners across Lake County, Illinois and creating a platform dedicated to visibility and community storytelling. She expanded into marketing and nonprofit communications in 2014, providing strategic content for the Love Health and Wealth organization.
By 2016, Anthoni advanced into leadership as Program Director at Miezeer Public Relations, where she refined her expertise in creative direction, campaign strategy, and content development while leading high-volume, results-driven PR initiatives.
Currently, she serves as a PR and Marketing Strategist for Canopy Records, leading artist branding, media outreach, and campaign strategy for a growing roster of talent. She also continues her work as an independent social media marketer and storyteller, helping artists, entrepreneurs, and filmmakers elevate their brands through strategic, results-driven content.
